Colombia's coal exports stood at 4.39 million tonnes in January, the lowest since September last year, showed data from Colombia National Department Administrative of Statistics.
The January figure declined 7.9% from 4.77 million tonnes a year ago and 19.17% from 5.44 million tonnes in December 2022.
The total exports were worth $910 billion, up 17.26% on the year but falling 19.59% on the month. The exporting price averaged at $207.07/t, up 27.31% from the year prior but dipping 0.51% on the month.
Colombia's coal exports stood at 60.93 million tonnes in 2022, rising 2.18% from a year ago. The total exports were worth $12.29 billion, a year-on-year jump of 117.41%.
