NW China's Ningxia autonomous region produced 23.54 Mt of coal from in Q1, up 5.2% YoY, local economic planner said. In Q1, Ningxia's raw coal sales reached 13.29 Mt, down 31% YoY. As of end-March, stockpiles at coal mines across the region were at 3 Mt and enough for 20 days of turnover.
