Germany's hard coal imports stood at 2.63 million tonnes in February, down 13.11% year on year, preliminary data from German Statistics Bureau showed.
The February imports also declined 18.94% from January, the data showed.
The value of the hard coal imports reached €579 million (about $646.91 million), falling 21.25% from a year earlier and 25.54% from a month ago; the average import price was calculated at €220.41/t, down 9.36% year on year and 8.15% month on month.
In January-February, Germany's hard coal imports totaled 5.87 million tonnes, an 11.48% fall year on year; value of the imports declined 3.96% to €1.36 billion.
