One miner has been confirmed dead in a coal mine accident in China's top 1 coal-producing province Shanxi on July 11, local authorities said.
The incident happened in one mine in Datong city and the mine belongs to one branch company of Shanxi Coal Transportation & Sales Group Co., Ltd., which was ordered to suspend production for rectification on July 12.
The notice also indicated the title of Level-II Standardization of the mine has been canceled.
The rectification will be responsible for safety watchdog in Datong and two persons will be sent to supervise on-site. No underground mining is allowed during the rectification.
