As of June 30, 363 railway-supplied power plants in the country held coal stocks of 80.76 million tonnes, available for 30.6 days of use and a relatively high level.
China State Railway has utilized main channels for coal shipment from the north to the south and from the west to the east, such as the Daqin, Tangbao, Wari, Haoji, and Lanxin railways. The company has continuously increased freight trains, enhancing the outbound capacity of major coal-producing regions of Shanxi, Shaanxi, Inner Mongolia, and Xinjiang.
It, together with local subsidiaries, has fully taken actions to ensure coal supply at both the local and central levels, and will further focus on coal transportation demand of power generation enterprises and organize the coal shipment to support for the peak summer period.
