Canada's coal production declined again in February, according to data from Statistics Canada, following a rebound after four consecutive months of decline.
The data revealed that the country's coal production in February was 3.79 million tonnes, an increase of 27.1% compared to the previous year, but a decrease of 12.4% compared to the previous month.
From January to February this year, the cumulative coal production totaled 8.12 million tonnes, showing a year-on-year increase of 40.6%.
