Coal exported through Gladstone posted notable rebound in March, according to data from Australian Gladstone Ports Corporation.
Gladstone exported 4.88 million tonnes of coal in March, down 10.4% year on year but soaring 74.2% from February.

Coal exports to Japan were 1.36 million tonnes, down 16.8% year on year but up 73.5% month on month.
Shipments to China's mainland stood at 917,000 tonnes, which remained zero both a year ago and a month ago.
The India-bound delivery was registered at 886,000 tonnes, falling 22.3% year on year but rising 119.9% from February.
Of the all coal exports, about 70% are metallurgical coal and the remaining 30% are thermal coal.
In the first two months of 2023, the port exported 13.37 million tonnes of coal in total, declining 14.9% from the year prior.
