Steel products prices in China were mixed with increases and declines in early June (June 1-10), according to the latest data from the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS).
The average price of construction steel rebar (HRB 400, 20mm) at 25 major cities in China stood at 3,664.9 yuan/t during the period, up 62.7 yuan/t or 1.7% from ten days earlier.
Prices of wire (HPB 300, 6.5mm) averaged 3,854.0 yuan/t in the same period, rising 81.0 yuan/t or 2.1% from ten days ago.
Prices of common medium plate (Q235, 20mm) decreased 25.0 yuan/t or 0.6% from the preceding session to 4,043.5 yuan/t.
Hot-rolled plate (Q235, 3mm) increased by 61.4 yuan/t or 1.6% to 3,845.2 yuan/t.
Seamless steel tube declined 48.2 yuan/t or 1.0% to 4,666.9 yuan/t.
Angle steel rose 86.5 yuan/t or 2.2% to 3,953.5 yuan/t, data showed.
