Mongolia transported 1.20 million tonnes of coal via railway in October, rising 18.35% year on year and 27.36% month on month, marking the third straight month of rise, showed data from the National Statistical Office of Mongolia.
In the month, railway shipment of iron ore was 364,500 tonnes, slumping 41.42% from a year ago, and down 9.98% from September.
Coal railings totaled 8.36 million tonnes during the first 10 months of 2022, up 8.46% year on year, and iron ore shipment was 3.34 million tonnes, down 50.96%.
